Three-waves self-trapping in a medium with quadratic nonlinear response

Abstract

We found out self-trapping of three pulses at basic, doubled and triple frequencies in a medium with quadratic nonlinear response. Under special condition, the propagation of waves at fundamental and at triple frequencies occurs without frequency conversion between all pulses.
