Experimental study of the basic parameters and the field strength of a television transmitter in the single frequency network (SFN)

Abstract

Television broadcasting of information appears to be one of the most commonly used means of information services and is widely used in various spheres of society. Primary method of reaching these objectives is the transition from analog to digital methods of formation and transmission of the signals. In this paper are examined the structure and the specific parameters of the DVB-T network in Bulgaria. We have carried out measurements of key parameters of the TV transmitter NEC DTU-52/2R7SQ, and conducted an experimental study of field strength in various geographic points.
