It is offered how exactly the model of the description of color perception should be applied. Some variations are proposed for the analytical apparatus of the model for correct determination of color angular coordinates. The range of colors that can be transmitted by the ultra-high definition television system (UHDTV) is presented. Estimates for the area of transmitted colors are obtained. A new parameter has been introduced to estimate the range of transmitted colors $S_{n}$. It is shown that the range of transmitted colors varies depending on the adaptive parameters and the brightness of the stimulus. Data showing how the transmission / reproduction color range changes with increasing luminance dynamic range are presented.
