Abstract

A method based on Wavelet Packet Energy Spectrum was employed to estimate the location of damages in composites. Numerical simulations and experiment were presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of this method. The damage factor of the sensing channel between the current state and the reference state was obtained by wavelet packet energy spectrum. The probability value of each point in the detection region was calculated using the probabilistic imaging algorithm.
