Abstract

We calculate switching performance of all-optical retiming switches employing the cascade of second harmonic generation and difference frequency mixing in the PPLN devices with consideration for the random domain length error. The error decreases the output power. The difference of the error pattern varies the waveform and the signal quality of the output.
