Besides the analytical basics, a method based on characteristic curves is explained which can be applied to heavily meshed grids. The regulator has been tested in extensive laboratory tests. In the laboratory, which consists of a grid model, loads and PV-inverters, tests with realistic voltage and currents have been performed. Abstract
This paper presents the results of the laboratory test of a novel voltage and current regulator for meshed operated low-voltage grids.
