The switch is operated using visual light communication technique, it also utilizes the use of a relay and Very large scale integration (VLSI) techniques for fast turn off action. Abstract

The research paper presents an innovative system for the reduction of energy wastage due to ghost or vampire power with the help of Visible Light Communication, Very large scale integration (VLSI) devices and the Internet of Things (IoT) technology.
