Matemática Financeira: uma proposta de abordagem para o Ensino Médio por meio do tesouro direto

Abstract

In this article we propose an approach to teaching Financial Mathematics for High School, by presenting activities that relate problems involving investment simulations in the direct treasury, see , and some mathematical concepts applied to this investment. This approach aims to bring such concepts closer to the students’ daily lives and, in addition, meets the competencies and skills of the area of Mathematics and its technologies that are inserted in the Common National Curricular Base, when it established that “in High School the focus is on the construction of an integrated view of Mathematics, applied to reality, in different contexts”, see [9, p.528]. We conclude this article by presenting the activities, and their respective resolutions, using the direct treasure.
