A Chaplain's Group in a Short-Term Psychiatric Unit

Abstract

This article describes a Chaplain's Spirituality Group which has been offered to psychiatric patients at a VA Medical Center for over five years. The purposes, guidelines, topics, and some observations about the group process are described. Recommendations are offered about the development of this type of group in other hospitals.
