Abstract

Comprehensive measurements of the vector analyzing power iT11 have recently been completed in the elastic, absorption, and breakup channels of the πd system using a polarized deuteron target and a TOF detection system at SIN. Discrepancies between the experimental data and the predictions of Faddeev calculations appear with varying severity in all three channels.
