Abstract

This paper presents electromagnetic forces investigation of variable speed induction motor. Initially electromagnetic forces of induction motor at nonsinusoidal power supply are analyzed. Proposed radial electromagnetic forces math model allows to take into account higher time harmonics of voltage source inverter supply.
