Abstract
In this comparable study, sixty patients were studied between March 2016 to November 2018. All of them were diagnosed having parapneumonic purulent pleural exudation (defined by the presence of purulent pleural effusion or pleural fluid with a pH below 7.2 associated with signs of chest infection and/or proven bacterial invasion of the pleural space).
