Abstract

Present research followed the influence of three types of low intensity electromagnetic field (EMF) on two hybrid nanomaterials and pointed interesting results with further clinical consequences upon the treatment plan of immunocompromised patients with co-morbidity which is indicated to physical therapy. The EMF effects were quantified by determining the change in microbiological characteristics of the hybrid materials containing silver nanoparticles as main component: the Microbial Number and the Minimal Bactericidal / Fungicidal Concentration (MBC/MFC) were determined, as they express the bactericidal and fungicidal activity.
