High resolution spectroscopy on optical signals in fiber communication systems

Abstract

In this paper, we present Brillouin based optical spectrum analysis with 10 ms sweep time and 23 MHz resolution bandwidth in the optical C-Band. The proposed measurement method has the potential to reduce the sweep time and the resolution bandwidth.
