Abstract
Usually, there will still be data conflicts left in the event mentions after the events have been co-reference resolution. This paper presents a novel experiments-proven solution to the conflicts of event mentions by first categorize the conflicts of events into named entity conflicts, semantic conflicts and data presentation conflicts and then take advantage of the D-S evidence theory in dealing with uncertain data based on "evidence" and "combination".
