Abstract
Motivated by classic laws of refraction which has been realized in optical systems, a scattered microwave modulated by plasma cylinder is proposed to obtain focused high-resolution distances of targets. Such a radar coincidence signal processing method resolves targets based on nonlinear microwave refracted by plasma cylinders which is quite different from conventional radar resolving techniques where target distance depending on 3 dB bandwidth and Doppler analysis. By constructing the mathematic model, the amplitude and phase conditions of transmitting microwaves are analyzed for achieving high-resolution distance of targets. Furthermore, the resolution experiments are conducted in chamber and distance of 12.6 cm of two pyramidal horn antennas are resolved.
