Challenges in multimodal (fluorescence, reflectance, polarisation) tissue imaging using rigid endoscopes

Abstract

A hyperspectral fluorescence and polarisation resolved imaging system incorporating a rigid endoscope has been developed for tissue characterisation. A full Mueller Matrix has been recorded for two commercial endoscopes to allow for correction of the complex polarisation properties.
