Athena - A Web Powered Mentoring Solution in the Milieu of Higher Education

Abstract

In this paper, a web powered solution to the growing inaccessibility of expertise and support in the form of academic and career counseling to a large section of the student community, especially in developing nations, has been proposed. A prototypical implementation of the model solution has been studied and a few envisaged extensions have been enumerated.
