Abstract

The simultaneous distribution of multiband orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MB-OFDM) ultra wideband (UWB) and millimeter-wave wireless personal area network (WPAN) signals over hybrid FTTH networks is evaluated, with a novel scheme for the optical transmitter. The optical transmitter proposed is optimized and transmission through standard single mode fiber is evaluated by simulation. All services can be delivered to the customer after 25 km fiber transmission.
