Abstract

The study of linear regression in high school opens up opportunities for examining a range of practical problems and can form an object of study within the optional discipline Artificial Intelligence, but also within the modules Numerical Calculus, Applications of the Derivative. The article presents methodological considerations for explaining the programming of predictions with the help of linear regression through the reasoned identification of the regression function, the elaboration of the implementation algorithm or by capitalizing on the tools of a spreadsheet.
