Abstract

In this paper, we propose an adaptive event synchronization control for distributed virtual environment (DVE) systems connected over dynamically time-varying networks. Existing adaptive synchronization approaches still have two challenges: disturbance by network traffic load fluctuation and event skipping by contracting the playout delay.
