Abstract
Rectifying antennas are taking a lot of interest for their simple configuration and their promising aptitudes in several applications. In this paper, we study separately the role of the rectifier diode in the performance of a rectenna system based on an electromagnetic model established with a hybrid method of Moments combined to the generalized equivalent circuit technique (MoM-GEC).
