Role of WSDL Metrics in the Detection of Web Service Anti-Patterns

Abstract

Many IT businesses now employ service-oriented architecture (SOA) to develop their systems. A service-based system (SBS) can be updated to accommodate new user needs, just like many other complicated structures. Continuously improving service-based systems to fulfill customer requests will lower software development quality, resulting in Anti-patterns in web services. Anti-patterns are frequently picked as a viable solution to a problem. However, they come with more drawbacks than advantages. Anti-patterns sabotage software systems’ long-term viability and perception.
