Abstract

New concepts for motion sensors on acoustic waves are discussed. An algorithm for studying surface acoustic wave (SAW) characteristics in piezodielectric crystals of arbitrary symmetry type under stress is considered. The main mechanisms of the impact of deformation on SAW propagation velocity are revealed. The theoretical, calculated and experimental results of SAW velocity dependence on stress are given for quartz crystal
