Abstract
The work aims to create a rectangular frequency reconfigurable microstrip patch antenna, pin diodes are used in ON and OFF states. The inductance of the pin diode is changed to achieve frequency biasing. By changing the resistance value from 1.4 ohms to 2k ohm, the recommended antenna’s frequency tuning and shifting at 2.05 GHz and 2.75 GHz. The rectangular patch with an on-state reflection coefficient (−15.795 dB) and gain (3 dB) appeared to be higher with off state reflection coefficient (−10.5 dB) and gain (7 dB). the slot of a rectangular patch antenna with a frequency of 2.4GHz offers a good reflection coefficient to resonate with the antenna.
