A new while-drilling data transmission system through micro-chip memory releasing was introduced in this paper. Plenty of micro-chip memories were installed in cavity of the releasing device, and were injected measurement data of LWD according to instructions, then were released to annulus regularly or irregularly, the memories will be carried to the surface by mud flow, so the stored data was transmitted to ground. A downhole releasing device is designed to releasing memories, flow channel of which is a decisive factor of this technology.
