Abstract

This document describes an interface based on the KLV protocol for communications between an SMS client and an OMB server. It facilitates pre-playback validation of AuxData (SMPTE ST 429-14) and Immersive Audio Track Files (SMPTE ST 429-18) and the exchange of status information between an SMS and an OMB during playback.
