Abstract

In this paper, a design of a high frequency PVDF hydrophone array is proposed. The FEM is utilized to simulate the performance of the hydrophone, and several design parameters are optimized to achieve higher and flatter sensitivity response over the working frequency band. The measured performance of the manufactured hydrophone array verifies the validity of the design.
