Abstract
When a phased array is placed on positioners, the limited accuracies of positioners would cause some random degradation of array gains. In this work, the array gains from an array with random rotations were evaluated and approximated by 2nd-order polynomials. Further, the probability density functions (PDF) were derived and agreed with simulations by the Monte Carlo method.
