Abstract

This paper analyzes the performance of three different topologies namely parallel, serial and variable-structure circuit of switched-diode-capacitor voltage accumulator (SDCVA). The converters are modelled in MATLAB/Simulink environment. Simulation is carried out to investigate the performance of the converters and the results are discussed. The optimum topology is identified based on the voltage gain and component stress.
