Abstract

It's common to Chinese and English to express something in a affirmation or negation. In translating from English into Chinese, the affirmative or negative expression of the original need not be rigidly adhered to. We should flexibly adopt one of the expressing amethods to keep the content of the original , to preserve the tone of the original characters, to reproduce the artistic style or to conform to the standard of Chinese.
