Abstract

İsmail Hakki Bursevî, who lived in the second half of the 17th century and the first quarter of the 18th century is who produced many works among the Sufis. The author, who has written more than a hundred works, is a name that has made its impact felt since the period he lived. Besides language and literature in his works, Bursevî also carried out versatile studies by including Islamic sciences such as hadith, kalam, fiqh, and tafsir. İsmail Hakkı, residedin Bursa for a long time. The most productive periods of his life was him Bursa’s time. He wrote many of his precious works at Bursa. He went to many different cities but eventually he returned to Bursa. Fort his reason, his nickname is “Bursevî”. In this article, we will try to reveal collectively the studies about Bursevî, who wrote many works until his death, by examining all the studies on both his life and his works. This study is aimed to guide those who will research on İsmail Hakkı.
