Abstract
Cultures of human intestinal aerobic flora did not have any inhibiting action on the immunologic reactivity of hepatitis B antigen even after disruption of bacterial cells by freezing and thawing. This suggests that the inhibitor is elaborated by the human intestinal mucosa.
