Abstract

The multi-wing butterfly attractors generated from Lü system via a single or multiple pulse function control is proposed in this paper. With the introduction of the single or multiple pulse function to the third equation of Lü system, the additional index-2 equilibrium points are created, from which multi-wing attractors are evolved. The evolutions of the strange four-wing butterfly attractor and the bifurcation analysis of Lü system with a single pulse function control are investigated. Furthermore, six-wing, eight-wing and ten-wing butterfly attractors in Lü system with different multiple pulse functions control are also revealed.
