Abstract
In this paper, we propose a system for ‘Real Time Monitoring of Power Resources with Surveillance based on M2M Communication’ which is capable to monitor the status of different power sources (grid power, DG power, back up battery Voltage) at any remote site along with surveillance of that site. This system will send the recorded data to a centralized server via secured channel for future analysis and measures to be taken care. This system can also be configured to send different alerts (e.g. SMS) to other systems/person for different critical situation handling [1][2]. A field trial on a mobile tower in Uttar Pradesh state of India has been carried out.
