Platform for STB video output integrity verification based on full reference picture comparison

Abstract

This paper presents a system for automated DVB STB video output integrity analysis using full reference picture comparison algorithm in a networked environment. As a referent input, golden STB device is used. The pictures grabbed from the tested devices are compared with the golden reference frames. The proposed system captures outputs from the referent device, the device under test, transfers the grabbed pictures to remote workstation, performs compare procedure and stores the results to the database.
