Abstract

The vortex electromagnetic (EM) radar, which carries orbital angular momentum, can provide extra rotational degree of freedom and potentially be exploited in high-resolution detection of near-distance imaging. The near-field detection principle of EM vortex wave is introduced. Through the echo mathematical modelling and analysis of the vortex electromagnetic wave, the processing of near-distance imaging is obtained. The simulation analysis demonstrates that the developed method has better high-resolution detection performance of the near distance imaging.
