Abstract

In this paper, we propose a novel multi-band OFDM indoor powerline communication (PLC) system. The physical layer of the proposed system consists of multi-band OFDM, convolutional encoding, Viterbi decoding, and interleaver. p-persistent CSMA/CD is adopted as the MAC layer protocol.
