Multi-Carrier Modulations Digital Modem with the Narrow-Band Optimal Signals and High Spectral-Energy Efficiency

Abstract

A new modem scheme has been developed in the multi-carrier modulation data system. Modem features: accounting of complex, narrow-band, finite signals that do not cause inter-symbolic interference in the communication channel, and space-time processing of them. The spectral-energy efficiency of the modem has been calculated. It is shown that the new modem has increased efficiency compared to the standard OFDM modem.
