Abstract

With the development of wireless video services, more video transmission schemes have emerged. Because of the cliff effect and a rapid decline in signal quality, the traditional wireless transmission scheme for broadcast and mobile application scenarios has some disadvantages. Based on this situation, new wireless video transmission schemes are proposed. The analog scheme represented by SoftCast solves the cliff effect and has better video objective quality. However, the coding efficiency is not high. In order to further improve the quality of video broadcasting, hybrid digitalanalog schemes are proposed.
