Abstract
The design scheme and implementation method of a wide band white noise signal generator with adjustable parameters are presented in this paper, which is based on the AD9957's built-in 14 bits' digit/analog converter and the powerful high-speed direct digital frequency synthesizer. Box-Muller transform is used to produce the Gauss white noise. Test and measurement show that the power output dynamic range of designed noise signal generator is over 25dB, meanwhile the power flatness of the generation is good.
