Abstract
An 8-channel delayed complex perceptron is used as a feed-forward photonic neural network for chromatic dispersion compensation in an optical fiber link. We experimentally demonstrate signal equalization on a 40 Gbps PAM4 propagating in a 50 km single-mode fiber.
