Abstract

Designing a controller for D.C motor under disturbance conditions and variations in parameters is a demanding assignment. To achieve requirements SMC strategy is used in this paper. SMC technique is a widely used robust controller, which is incentive to parameter variation and disturbance conditions. Here, in this paper, Sliding Mode controller is designed to monitor the speed of a DC motor. The suggested controller has designed by using unit vector approach. The effectiveness of the controller in supervising the dynamics of the D.C motor is verified by MATLAB.Simulations are presented in order to demonstrate the good achievement of the proposed control strategy.
