Building of the collection of industrial sci-tech library of a new type

Abstract

The relevancy of the topiс arises from the demands by librarians and organizations’ managers and by transformation of industrial sci-tech libraries. Acquisitions to the collections must meet information needs of the employees. The examples of developments and procedures to acquire printed materials to the collections as well as to select appropriate computerized library systems are provided.
