Electric power and control cables-domestic (USA) standards and practices versus the international community

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide a basic understanding of the IEC standard system and to offer a cable construction comparison between standard domestic cable and an IEC cable design. The perspective is written from the domestic USA understanding of international standards.
