The FSS, as the secondary reflection surface of the antenna, has good reflection characteristics for incident electromagnetic waves working at the Ka-band, and has good transmission characteristics for X-band and lower-frequency incident electromagnetic waves. The band-stop type FSS unit cell is selected according to the characteristics of the application, with metal ring two-dimensional periodic structure. The insertion loss of small incident angle waves in the X-band is less than 1dB, and the suppression of large-angle incident waves working at the Ka-band is higher than 10dB. Abstract
A frequency selective surface (FSS) integrated with a dual-band dual-reflection antenna is designed.
