Flicker measurements in transmission network

Abstract

In order to adequately evaluate flicker propagation in transmission networks it is essential to correctly conduct flicker measurements. This article analyzes field measurements of flicker in a part of the Slovenian transmission system that has long been under the influence of a large arc furnace. Measurements were conducted in a limited number of network nodes for two different network topologies.
