Abstract
The methods of analysis of contact interaction of complex–profile bodies in the presence of intermediate layers with non–linear power–systems are described in this work. These tasks are reduced to physically and structurally nonlinear problems. The models, based on variational formulations of the Kalker principle type, are described. Discretization is made using the method of boundary elements. Numerical methods for solving the system of nonlinear equations and inequalities are also described. They are based on Newton–Ruffson–type methods or on the development of methods for minimizing convex functionals on a set given by a system of inequalities. In addition, methods of reduction physically and structurally nonlinear problems to a sequence of structurally nonlinear, but physically linear problems are developed. There are a method of additional gaps and a method of variable compliance parameters. A solution for a number of test tasks is described. It demonstrated the convergence and accuracy of the problem solving. Also the solution for a series of applied tasks is described. An analysis of change regularities for the contact pressure distribution in the conjugation of geometrically-complex bodies during the variation of geometrics, physical and mechanical properties of transitional layer materials is carried out. In addition, new characteristics are proposed for describing the displacement balance in the contact area of geometrically-complex bodies.
