Furthermore, this indicator was used to calculate the lifetime fuel cost of charging, which measures the total fuel saving of an EV compared with an Internal Combustion Engine Vehicle (ICEV) under similar conditions. In order to make these comparisons, we made several assumptions regarding the future oil prices, charging behaviors, types of equipment costs, and vehicle use (VMT). Abstract
