Complete Resolution of an Intracardiac Tumor without Surgical Intervention

Abstract

Primary cardiac lymphoma is extremely rare. Here, we report the case of an 82 year-old female with an initial presentation of pericardial effusion and chest tightness with shortness of breath. A transvenous endomyocardial biopsy showed diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL). After 1 year of successful chemotherapy, the tumor size diminished without any complications.
